  1. Hi Ronnie Ann,

Just wanted to give you a greatttt update. I went back from a day-in-the-job interview today with this company that we spoke about in the above post, and got the amazing good news call this afternoon, that I got the job! I have to go through all the paperwork and all that stuff, but it really happened. I feel like I need to pinch myself. Especially in the current economy situation I feel extremely grateful because I know how hard it can be. But I’m so happy it paid off! Thank you soo much!!! I’m convinced your advice made this all happen. Thank you! And to all those discouraged job-searchers out there, it does happen eventually. I got seven rejections in a row and about two dozen companies that never even responded to my resume in the first place. So, it might feel like it takes forever, but it does eventually happen! Best of luck!

    Shelly

  2. Oh Shelly!

This is wonderful news!!! I’m so happy for you. Thank you for letting us know and thank you MUCH for showing others that that it’s not the number of rejections, but the one YES that counts!

Oh…and while I appreciate that you give me and the blog credit, all I did was help point you in a direction, but YOU made it happen.

I wish you all the best. SOOO happy for you. Hope your good luck runs off on my other readers. 🙂 As bad as the economy is, you only need that one job for you.

Big hugs. I’m so proud of you.

    Ronnie Ann
